TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction
Welcome to Courageous Leaders (the "Event"). These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to all participants ("you" or "Attendee") of the Event, organised by Courageous Leaders Limited ("we," "us," or "Organiser"). By registering for or attending the Event, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not register for or attend the Event.
2. Registration

  1. Eligibility: Attendees must register for the Event and provide accurate and complete information.

  2. Tickets: Tickets are required for entry. Each ticket admits one person and is non-transferable unless otherwise stated.

  3. Payment: All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be provided unless the Event is cancelled or rescheduled.

3. Attendance

  1. Identification: Attendees may be required to present valid identification for entry.

  2. Behaviour: Attendees are expected to behave respectfully and professionally. Harassment, discrimination, and disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

  3. Safety: Attendees must comply with all safety protocols and instructions from the Organiser and venue staff.

4. Liability

  1. Assumption of Risk: By attending the Event, you assume all risks associated with your participation.

  2. Personal Belongings: The Organiser is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Reasonable steps are taken by the venue to ensure safety and security.

  3. Medical Assistance: In case of an emergency, the Organiser via the venue provider will seek medical assistance, but is not liable for any medical costs incurred or the standard of treatment received.

5. Photography and Recording

  1. Consent: By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. The Organiser may use these materials for promotional purposes.

  2. Restrictions: Unauthorised photography, filming, or recording during the Event is prohibited.

6. Intellectual Property

  1. Event Content: All materials and content presented at the Event are the intellectual property of the Organiser or the respective presenters and speakers.

  2. Use of Content: Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the Event without prior written permission from the Organiser. We encourage social media engagement and are delighted to be tagged, please use respectful language. 

7. Privacy

  1. Data Collection: The Organiser may collect personal data from Attendees for registration, security and communication purposes.

  2. Data Use: Personal data will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.  

  3. We will share your personal data for legitimate reasons with the venue provider for health & safety and security purposes.

8. Changes, Cancellation and Liability

  1. Event Changes: The Organiser reserves the right to make changes to the Event program, schedule, and location. As much advance notice will be provided as reasonably possible.

  2. Cancellation: If the Event is cancelled or rescheduled, Attendees will be notified, and ticket holders will be offered a refund or alternative options such as an opportunity to attend a future event.

  3. The Organiser, its sponsors, the venue provider shall not be liable for any loss or damage and exclude all liability howsoever arising  permissible under law, whether direct or indirect, consequential and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract, including for force majeure events, including but not limited to transport strikes, industrial walkouts, pandemic, extreme weather conditions, fire or flood events.  

  4. All liability is capped and limited to the ticket fee paid.

  5. No refunds will be issued for cancellations by Attendees 48 hours before the day of the Event.

9. Governing Law
1. These Terms and any disputes arising from or related to the Event will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.
2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales. 

10. General 
1. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, and negotiations including marketing materials.
2. No amendment to these Terms shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both parties.
3. These Terms shall not create any rights which are enforceable by anyone other than the parties
