“What a truly heartwarming and impactful event. Very inspiring and beautifully executed.”

Michelle Carvill, Author & Speaker

We’re thrilled to be supporting Plan International UK’s project helping 21,780 out-of-school, poor and marginalised girls in Zimbabwe continue their education. Girls in Zimbabwe are given the same chances for education as boys – while they are little. But adolescence has a huge impact.

Girls start to be held back by beliefs about their ability and value. They are at physical risk from harmful attitudes and practices, like harassment and early marriage. 28% of girls in Zimbabwe will never make it to secondary school, most likely losing their chance for a better future forever.

In 2021 the UK department for international development assessed the impact of the project in Zimbabwe and gave it an A+ for impact.

Our objective is to help support marginalised
girls in Zimbabwe and empower them
through access to education.

By attending our events, you are
empowering these girls to lift
themselves out of a life of poverty
to a future of opportunity.

  • Access to quality learning opportunities, in or out of school.

  • Access to vocational training in relevant skills to build new livelihoods.

  • Access to safe, fairly-paid living through work or their own small business.

  • Empower them to lift themselves out of a life of poverty to a future of opportunity.
